Over the past several years the Munselle property at 21505 River Road in Geyserville has lost over 1000 feet of bank to river erosion. In 1993 the Russian River was @ 1,000 feet from River Road. In 2012 it was 140 feet. Today the Russian River is less than 100 feet from River Road. At the current rate of erosion, there is a strong probability that River Road will wash out in the near future. When — not if — this happens, we will all lose the only access to our homes and our properties. July 16, 2013.
