Is an example of “the Unseen” because it is a close up to the smoke. When I first saw it, I thought it was an image of a storm, however, once I paid closer attention I realized it was smoke. I chose this picture because I thought it was an interesting take on pollution from factories. Http:/ www.sylviaplachy.com/. January 31, 2013.

April 4, 2013. I will take vertical pictures in order to show full length. I will take the pictures in eye level with a higher light. Since the picture will be taken indoors and most buildings do not have very good lighting, I might add flash in order to get a more clear image. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. April 9, 2013. In my photographs, I wanted to express the person’s individuality. I wanted to express who the person was by what taking a full length body to show their clothing. In addition, I took the pictures from a a far enough angle that the viewer can see the person’s room. The room is an insight to the person’s life. April 4, 2013. April 4, 2013. David Hilliard inspired my photography because of the portraits with people in a room. I like the photograph above because it shows them in their nat...

Beloit College Photography 117. April 22, 2013. Post 2: Project 5 “Say Something” Inspiration 4. Photographer: Terilee Dawn Ouimette. I like how Ouimette uses her photographers to send a message not so much of a cause but inspirational stories. The photos in the series “Real” focus on the value and beauty of authenticity, hard work, courage etc. I’m thinking about photographing people or groups that have significant meaning towards my cause. Beloit College Photography 117. April 22, 2013. Post 2: Project 5 “Say Something” Inspiration 1. I enjoy how Chris Jordan uses objects to represent a deeper meaning. In this case, the building blocks represent the 1.2 million high school students that drop out of school. I really like this concept of symbolism, and hope to use that in my photographs. Beloit College Photography 117. April 22, 2013. Post 2: Project 5 “Say Something” Inspiration 2. I really like the use of text Barbara Kruger uses in her artwork. Although the full description is not present, the combination of images and text creates the full meaning of what she is trying to present. I would like to somehow use subliminal text in my photographs for the final project. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:.

A great WordPress.com site. Monthly Archives: March 2013. March 21, 2013. Project #3 In Limbo–Art Statement. In Limbo Art Statement. My first photo, In Party. Was taken in the Chinese New Year Celebration Party. I saw a man sitting alone at a round table while it was crowded elsewhere in the party. The background red color in China red is regarded as a symbol of happiness and liveliness. So I titled this photo In Party. My second photo, Back Peep. My third photo, Long Waiting. My final photo, Can’t Help,.
