Stained Concrete Design: November 2009

Carlos Garza 554.7567. This was your standard carpeted stairway that my client was interested in tiling. They talked about the ceramic tile option and how that wasn't cutting the muster for them so I mentioned I could make some concrete tiles and they loved the idea. My client was very patient throughout the process, as their stairwell was just a plywood surface for about month or two while I made each piece from scratch. It was really a great project! Cheap stained concrete guy. All of this can be avoid...

Stained Concrete Design: Remodel
http://stainedconcretedesign.blogspot.com/2007/07/remodel.html
Carlos Garza 554.7567. I just spent two days scraping, scrubbing and wire wheel grinding about 400 square feet of concrete. I went through 10 razor scraper blades and spent 12 hours on my hands and knees. People wonder why it costs so much! Give it a whirl sometime, I think you'll see why. This floor turned out really beautiful. I combined Amber and Dark Brown to get this effect. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Caldera Design Concrete Countertops. Carlos Garza 554.7567. Cracks in the floor actually enhance the look. A careful mix of stain and water helped to create the client's desired effect. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Caldera Design Concrete Countertops. The Austin Concrete Group.

Stained Concrete Design: August 2007
http://stainedconcretedesign.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Carlos Garza 554.7567. This 30 year old concrete floor was originally a part of the garage. The client added a walk-in pantry to the kitchen, thus enclosing a section of the garage. What you see here is the cleaned and stained pantry floor. The stain is a combination of Amber and Green. I'm always pleased when really old concrete takes the stain so nicely.
