Sunday, November 3, 2013. Easy Whole Wheat Biscuits. Easy Whole Wheat biscuits. 2 cups whole wheat flour (I used King Arthur’s white whole wheat organic flour). 2 teaspoons baking powder. 189; teaspoon salt. 4 tablespoons cold unsalted butter. 1 cup milk (any kind). In a medium sized bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well with whisk or fork. Cut the ½ stick butter into little pea sized pieces and then mix the pieces into the flour mixture. Thursday, November 29, 2012. Matthew has been out on his mission for almost 3 1/2 months! He is doing well and learning so much good. I miss him like crazy but am so proud of the young man he has become and is becoming. I have a private missionary blog for him that I post his emails and pictures at, but I wanted to post some pictures here (ok, it's a ton of pictures but hey I'm the Mom so I can do it). The morning he reported to the MTC. I had to get some last minute pictures of my handsome missionary!

Monday, December 3, 2012. Random, Soccer, and Silliness. I am almost caught up! I just have two more posts and we finally found the pictures to the fourth of July and our Family camp! Those will be shuffled in order so they won't be at the top of this blog! Of course the end of summer wouldn't be complete without soccer in this house! Brady got second place in the tournament. He is an awesome defender and rarely let's anything get in the goal! Tanner got to be on a team with his best buddy! Her favorite ...

Sunday, August 28, 2011. This year we got family passes to Trafalga and Seven Peeks. I have forgotten my camera most of the time so I don't have a lot of pictures. We've been having a lot of fun family night activities! We have our spiritual lesson on Sunday and our family activity on Monday. One night wasn't enough for both. Thursday, June 30, 2011. Foods to stock up on food for the next few days. It should only take about an hour….right? I learned a few things and thought I’d pass it along. Raw milk is illegal in Kentucky but don’t worry…. you can still get wine and beer. I sure hope my kefir lives through this abuse. A screaming, protesting two year old is almost impossible to get into a car seat. Poor baby : (. Don’t buy Rotisserie chicken for lunch when you have to eat in the car without plates. Note: written next day.

Friday, July 15, 2011. Nauvoo and we are on our way home! We spent two days in Nauvoo. It was probably my favorite of everything we have done. The people were all so nice and there was so much to do for all ages. The first day we went to see many of the houses. There are so many buildings to see it would probably take a week to go through them all. Much of this city has been restored. There is such a strong spirit in this place. They have carriage or wagon rides that take you on a tour of old Nauvoo.

Sunday, October 14, 2012. I think the kids get one hour of sleep on Christmas Eve for anticipation for Santa to come. And to spend time with family and to celebrated Jesus birthday!
