Thursday, July 9, 2015. Daddy was able to get tickets to a concert of a group the girls both liked. So we took the girls to their first "rock" concert. The band was R5 and had a Disney Channel star as the lead singer. One of my best memories is dancing with Brianna to the music that night. I'm glad I got to be with her for her first concert. Sunday, April 6, 2014. By December I was hooked. I was going almost every day and feeling better than I'd felt in years. By January I started seeing a real difference and started making goals. Anyone who has battled weight knows that you go up and down and I was no exception. About five years ago I was able to lose 60 lbs. but life and stress take their toll and the weight went back on. If I were to live without a dishwasher for the remainder of my days I would do the following:. 1 Drink with a straw (eliminating the need to scrub around the rim). 2 Grill all of my food (no pots and pans to clean). 3 use plastic IKEA-ware for dinnerware (can't break in the sink). Wednesday, November 28, 2012. I hate to cook! Ever night I hear "Mom, what's for dinner" I cringe! A few weeks ago, I decided to remedy that, and now, I only have to cook 2 nights a week :). I decided it's time the kids learn how to cook. James could be going on a mission in 4 1/2 years and he needs to be prepared, right? So each kid got to choose a favorite meal and I started teaching them how to cook it. As soon as they've mastered that meal, they get to choose a different one to learn how to cook.
