FabUnits: the Vintage Fabric iPhone App. I'm an aspiring seamstress by night, but during the day I make iPhone apps. After sewing many vintage patterns, not too often I am presented with something like this:. Vintage fabric bolt sizes come in many more widths than ours do today. I often found myself buying too much fabric. Based on the square area of fabric needed, I calculated how much fabric it would equate to using our modern day bolt size measurements. Convert meters to yards and yards to meters.

So here is some Advent calendar inspiration for all of you, who still haven’t gotten all the necessary 24 little parcels. Or for all of you who urgently need an alternative for the contaminated chocolate Adventcalendars. The second Advent calendar I made for my goddaughter, who is 3.5 years old. She is really into drawing and colouring. And she is obviously becoming a real girl now. At least 2012 :-).

Sunday, January 13, 2013. More Themed Party Ideas. After I had to exclude so many great themes for my birthday party, because I have already been to or thrown these parties. I spent the past night online doing research on what other creative blogging people have done in terms of themed parties and here are my favourites so far:. 8211; inspired by this great kid party by SugarSweet. But I could also imagine a great adult version of the theme, e.g. dressing up as your childhood hero. What do you think?

Thursday, July 29, 2010. We finally got a new dog a few weeks ago! We looked for a while and got the perfect one for our family. His name is Bach. We did not rename him. He was in the Poodle Rescue shelter for 3 months. He is 2 years old, a poodle-cocker spaniel mix and is already trained. Perfect fit for us as he loves the boss of the house! July 30, 2010 at 5:54 AM. Oh, how cute! Poodle mixes are are such wonderful, sweet-natured dogs. I have a miniature poodle / rat terrier mix, myself.
