Here is mine. I made mine square rather than the rectangle like my sister's. I cut a couple leaves from some coordinating pieces of DSP and put them on the front. Then had to adjust them since one kept the card from opening. I use the rest of that package of DSP to make a couple more exploding cards and.

Sunday, August 3, 2014. This technique uses a template. You can make your own by tracing a circle near the center of a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 inch card stock. Draw intersecting lines through the center of the circle to create spokes. I have 16 spokes on the template below. I have also done one with 8 spokes. Place the card stock under the template and while holding securely in the center. Sponge ink on the card stock in the open areas of the template. Decorate card front as desired. Monday, October 21, 2013. Embossing folder and Big Shot. Neutral cardstock ( I used Crumb Cake). Neutral ink - light shade ( I used Crumb Cake). Blue ink ( I used Island Indigo). Green ink ( I used Always Artichoke). Neutral ink - dark shade ( I used Early Espresso). Metallic embossing powder (I used Pewter). Sponge on the blue ink - covering the whole sheet of card stock. Sponge on the green ink - this will give it the turquoise patina color ( the photo looks more 'green' than the actual card stock did).

Friday, August 16, 2013. This is a simple technique to make a one-of-a-kind background for a card. It can be messy. 2 baby wipes - any brand. 3 colors of ink refills. Paper towels and rubber gloves if you don't want ink stained hands. I am using Basic Gray with two retired colors of Not Quite Navy and More Mustard. Sunday, November 24, 2013. Supplies - DSP, a variety of designs with coordinating colors. Coordinating ribbon, fairly wide. Stamps, ink and other embellishments as desired. Cut DSP into 4 x 1 5/8 inch rectangles. Cut each rectangle diagonally to form two triangles. I line up the opposite points in the cutting trough and cut. This will give you two triangles.
