Picard is a place where we could buy (authentic) French food to take back to our apartment and heat up. Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Today we had class time so two of our students did their presentations on Versailles and on the Eiffel Tower. After class we went for lunch at a wonderful place and had a falaffel. They were delicious and very filling! On another note, everyone smokes here and it is difficult to get away from it on the streets.that part I don't like. Sunday, January 15, 2012. Sunday, January 15, 2012 (morning). We actually slept in until 8:00 am this morning.I love our Sunday mornings when we don't have to rush off so quickly. It felt good to sleep longer after our full day at Versailles yesterday. One thing I did not mention in my blog yesterday was the wonderful crepe' we had. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Tonight I plan to do some laundry and have a relaxing evening as tomorrow we have class time in the morning and then off to do the Catacomb tour. The steps we climbed to get to the Basilique Du Sacre'. The Basilica from the back side. Basilique Du Sacre' (Sacred Heart) front side. The view of Paris from the hightest point at 420 feet. Monday, January 16, 2012. Monday, January 16, 2012. Today we had our last class time with Whitney presenting on the Arc de Triomphe and Amy presenting on the Musee d' Orsay. After class we went on our tour of the Arc de Triomphe. Our last class day at CEA - Sharie Brunk, Whitney Puent, Amy McCubbins, Samantha Vanriper and Olivia Coady.
