We've been hard at work at the Historical Society looking for the perfect place for our museum. After a long search, we have settled on a nice property that embodies our pioneer spirit. 31187 Hwy 44, Singletown, CA. Shingletown Historical Society's Museum is now open! Hours of Operation: Saturday and Tuesday 11am-3pm. Other times by appointment. 530-474-3291. The museum is located just past the Shingletown sign on Highway 44, directly across from Reed's Market/Gas Station.

Now that the museum site is a reality, members have been busy painting, decorating, and other refurbishing. Historic family items treasured by pioneer families are now being catalogued. A WWI Army uniform and early wedding dress are just some of the items which will eventually be on display along with delicate sets of china, photographs, antique tools, tack and house-hold items barely recognizable to today’s generation.
