Beer Garden and Deli. Governor Darling approved a proposed expedition by Captain James Stirling to explore the vicinity of the Swan River in order to ascertain its suitability as a site for permanent settlement outside of New South Wales. Captain Stirling arrived in March 1827 and immediately commenced a 16 day expedition up the Swan River, during which time the following was noted. In September 1829, Captain Stirling and the Surveyor General, John Septimus Roe, travelled up to the head of the Swan River.

Beer Garden and Deli. Homestead Brewery at Mandoon Estate is Western Australia’s newest craft brewery. Homestead offers a selection of unique beers and ciders with many more innovative brews on the horizon. The Homestead Brewery has a casual atmosphere with bar and table seating, relaxed lounges and outside dining on the deck overlooking an incredible view of the vineyards. Homestead Brewery is open for Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, lunch Monday Sunday and dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Beer Garden and Deli. A completely modern, clean and fresh approach has been taken with our brewery and food. Grab a pizza, some tapas, a refreshing ale sit on the deck overlooking the vines and relax! If it’s hot in the valley we pump up the air-conditioning and turn on the spray misters outside. Come in from 7.30am to start your day with breakfast on the decking, overlooking the vines or sit by the fireplace in winter. Breakfast is served until 10.30am. Bookings are recommended, but not essential.
