The funds were distributed by The Purbeck Marathon and By the Swanage Regatta and Carnival committee. Our excess ‘T’ shirts were donated to an orphanage. Amongst others, we were able to donate 500 to our our ‘Chairman’s Charity’ for 2014 Autism Wessex. A big thank you to all that helped us raise this money. Here’s hoping to see you all again in 2014! The Purbeck Trail Series. Terms & Conditions. 2016 Entries Now CLOSED. The Purbeck 16 is actually more than 16 miles and is in fact closer to 16.5 miles and is a great step up from a half marathon. The route then picks returns to the hill Ridgeway and heads towards Swanage to finish on the seafront. The entire route has spectacular views which will help to combat fatigue. Weather permitting there will also be stunning views of Portland, Poole Harbour and the Isle of Wight. Enter The Purbeck Marathon.
