The Home Daybook: July 2012
http://homedaybook.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 27, 2012. Front step pots refresh. Well, I must say it sure is nice to spend a few days at home. Back in our earlier years, my husband and I (quite happy to have summers off for lots of fun) would schedule trips back to back like you wouldn't believe. We don't do that so much anymore, since it's so much freaking work with two kids.: ) So, having two trips about six days apart kicked our butts a bit and I've been a bit of a sloth, just enjoying being home. Okay Well, the petunias, pictured ab...

A little bit of this. A little bit of that. Shop For Milk Paint. September 25, 2014. I have the same problem that many people have who are in business….at least I HOPE I do…otherwise I might just cry! I spend a lot of time either finding and hauling home, painting or otherwise improving, transporting and pricing, rearranging and sprucing. The furniture or smaller items for the shop…. Oh and WHAT THE H-E-DOUBLE-HOCKEY-STICKS……let’s throw in running a house and volunteering as well! I’m on to his tri...

http://allthingsming.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 10, 2015. Sorry for the month long hiatus! I need a new laptop and my desktop is in a part of the house that has been just too cold this winter. So I just kept close to the fire and kept stitching! Lots of projects going on and I am being very good at finishing.must cut down on my WIPS! I designed this bag yesterday for my La Passacalglia quilt from Millefiori Quilts by Willyne Hammerstein. It's an English paper peicing project. I found this cute fabric at Jo Ann's. Crocheted some hot pads.

I find mine in soooo many places… TV, mailers, surroundings, stores, billboards, quotes, etc. I’m excited to say that today’s project was inspired by an older Lowe’s Creative Ideas magazine! I tucked the idea away and today I’m sharing these Painted Drop Cloth Soap Wraps. Cut your drop cloth. Into strips. My strips measured 2-1/2″ x 8-9″. Submerge the drop cloth.

Skip to primary content. I’ve Been Featured. DIY Stacked Herb Garden. April 18, 2013. Hooray for a small finished outdoor project! I’m on a mission to spruce up our back yard which has had no attention to it since we moved here. I adore herb gardens! They are so cute and useful at the same time. Here. I loved this idea of using different sizes of pots with two upside down from Martha Stewart’s tower of herbs. This was a really fun project and I will probably do another one with flowers. My kids had f...

Our Pinteresting Family: Laundry Room Beadboard Drop Ceiling
http://ourpinterestingfamily.blogspot.com/2014/04/laundry-room-beadboard-drop-ceiling.html
Monday, April 21, 2014. Laundry Room Beadboard Drop Ceiling. Rob came up with an idea of how to update the lovely drop ceiling already in there. We knew we couldn't do a normal ceiling due to all the pipes that run above it to our three bathrooms and laundry room. And with the amount of water issues and leaks that we have in our home it was a good idea to keep it like the drop ceiling we already have. Rob got out his pad and pencil and drew a design he thought he wanted to work on. He bought this light f...
