To be happy is to be free from the expectations of others. Sunday, October 23, 2005. I had to do it. I really did not want to. I wanted to believe in the basic goodness of all people. I wanted to think that greed would not enter here. After all, what is there to be gained but the perversion of society, one person at a time. Is the collection and exchange of currency so attractive that some individuals will loose all dignity to obtain it? I am talking about comment spam. Is there no end to the assault?

To be happy is to be free from the expectations of others. Friday, February 25, 2005. Man transcends space, and time transcends man. To be happy is to be free from the expectations of others. Friday, May 20, 2005. Enjoy what I do? When I think ahead, I can't imagine a time when I won't be training. It becomes a lifestyle choice more than anything. At 41, I have excellent flexibility, good cardiovascular and fabulous blood pressure, why would I quit? There seems to be a compromise to every good thing, and being physically and mentally fit is no exception. Still, I enjoy what I do. Posted by Kim at 5:11 PM. Wednesday, May 11, 2005.

To be happy is to be free from the expectations of others. Thursday, January 27, 2005. The human need for control. It seems to me that attempts are made through legislation, and civic law to prevent any *bad* event from happening. Seat belts, helmets, knee pads, shin pads, chest protectors, vaccines for everything, inquiries into every accident are examples of this obsession. Even as I listened to broadcasts about the mudslide in North Vancouver, individuals were saying, "Will there be an inquiry? View m...

She discusses the "nine multiple intelligences" (Howard Gardiner, Intelligence Reframed: Multiple Intelligences for the 21st Century, Basic Books, New York, 1999). Intelligence goes far beyond the IQ test! I am putting together a series of exercises that will open up that tunnel vision to a wide, panoramic view. Should be fun! Posted by Kim at 9:37 AM.
