Monday, September 14, 2009. With open passenger cars. We chose to drive the route. The mountain pass was amazing! We were eating lunch in. Silverton as the train pulled in. Old Town New Mexico. Jim and I stopped in Albuquerque to explore. We had a wonderful lunch here. There are so many shops. The architecture is simple.

Adventures to be had. Sunday, August 28, 2011. Has many caves to explore. The Wind Caves are the kind I like. A steep hike to get to access, but worth it. I would describe it more as arches, not a cave. Not as creepy as most caves. Wind blows through to cool. You down in the shade. Great spot to take in the view. The temperature reached 100*.
