Sunday, November 25, 2012. I went to dinner with a friend a few weeks ago. This is a friend that I can talk to about anything and she will listen. I can say really mean things about people and she will not think of me as a horrible person. I've really thought a lot about something she said to me. There are enough bad things that happen in life that we cannot control. So we should really take control of the things that we can to try to have a happier life. Monday, October 7, 2013. I never took the time to share with you Lincoln's newborn pictures! My friend, Laura. From lmh photography took them (duh). She's pretty much the greatest. I am in love with so many of these! I never realized just how hard taking pictures of a newborn baby could be. Umm.SO hard. We managed to get some good ones of the little squirmy guy. Laura, thank you SO much for helping capture the precious moments that my baby was just a couple of weeks old. I will cherish these forever!

Monday, February 18, 2013. I'm here, I promise! The last time I posted was the end of January! Pathetic. Since then, some big things have happened. Good and bad. I'm not going into details about the bad, because quite frankly, at this moment in time, I don't particularly care to air all that. Things tend to work themselves out and I am having faith in God that this particular situation will work out for the best. My teaching teammates ordered lunch out for me and gave me some of the most thoughtful gifts!
