The Girl WIth the Pink Laces. Countdown….17 days. Only 17days, omg! The butterflies have come, the sleep is getting disturbed and muscles have started to twitch, I’m guessing this will all just get worse over the next couple of weeks! It’s not specific to my marathon training but at least it’s getting me doing something other than sitting and watching eastenders. Aim for next couple of weeks is to do little and often, Pilates, stretching, running, massages and some boot camp sessions. From your own site.

The Girl WIth the Pink Laces. Well, this time in 4 weeks I will hopefully be a marathon runner! Training is going generally ok (touch wood). I did a 20mile run last week and walked hoe for 1 mile, so I covered 21miles. To be honest training is getting to be a bit of a chore. The long runs take a lot of time and I always end up falling asleep when I get in from a long run, I just cant keep my eyes open! The past few sessions have included an interval session one week ago, next day was a 16mile cycle, the day after was a 16mile cycle plus 1.5mile run, following two days were 1hr pilates sessions, this was followed by a upper body weights session. If my clients told me they were doing as many sessions as this, especially with no breaks after strenous sessions, I would definately tell them off! But just before I do that, I have a 16mile cycle to do 😉.
