Sunday, July 19, 2009. A Day at the Lake. After church, some friends and I took lunch out to Lake Lowndes and hung out for a while. The weather was gorgeous. Sure wish the weather was like this all the time. The "kids" were playing on the playground! Emerson (this is pretty much what she did the whole time - apparently being outside is very relaxing for her). Feeding the ducks (they were actually eating the crackers out of our hands). Saturday, September 26, 2009. Back before school started, I went to the beach with Debbie, Carey and John James, and Mike, Beth and Alyssa. We had the best time. It was very low-key and very relaxing. We laid at the beach, played putt-putt, rode go-carts, played video games, flew kites, and, of course, ate some great food – shrimp, fish, and FRIED CHEESECAKE!
