Let's Learn Socks Knitalong. Wednesday, September 5, 2007. Monkey, new version. I decided I didn't care for the feel of the fabric that I created with the Opal Rainforest with size 2 needles. It resulted in a fabric too loosely knit which made for a very rough texture. Not what I would want to wear on my foot all day. After some discussion with Jessica at City Knitting. Monday, October 30, 2006. Thanks for all the comments on Madge and Anastasia! I finally got around to setting the twist on some hanks of handspun. For your viewing pleasure:. 100% Merino Wool, 2 ply (spun on Val's Joy), approximately 142 yards. 100% Finn, navajo plied (spun on my precious Lulu), approximately 32 yards. 50% Alpaca, 30% Merino, 20% Silk, singles, approximately 140 yards. Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Insanknitty, Fiber and Irregularity, Comfy Chairs, and LOTS of Cackles! Went to Insanknitty last night at Yarn Haven. And once again laughed myself to tears! I sat in the library with Becky. We missed you, Patti. And thoroughly enjoyed myself.to say the least! I REALLY want one of those knitting chairs.it felt SO good!
