About 6 weeks ago, I spent most of the weekend crying as I thought that it would be disloyal of me to ever be happy again. If I was happy, that would be showing disrespect to Mike. I really believed that. In fact if I was happy, Mike would be happy. I think I am making progress. No Meltdown For Seven Weeks Now! The Way I Dress Has Changed. It’s Disloyal to Be Happy" (1).

Went for a walk this morning and was thinking about all the things that I miss now that Mike has passed. I miss Mike’s smile. I miss Mike’s hugs. I miss Mike holding my hand when we went for a walk. I miss Mike’s cornish pasties and the curries he used to make. I miss just ‘being’ with Mike. I miss Mike’s unconditional love. I miss watching TV with Mike. I miss our Friday night dates.
