Thursday, March 19, 2015. I am afraid that I have done it again – I have taken way too long to write on this blog. If you’re wondering how this runner girl is doing, she’s great. I am ready to take on all the surprises and challenges that 2015 will bring me. Self explanatory; can't mess with a rhyme! Race days are usually Sundays, but it’s a great day to run long too. Spend some time in the gym and lift some heavy things! West and Wecovewy Wednesday. Early morning tempo runs as prescribed by my coach.

Meals and Miles: Carolyn's Brunch Blog. BMO Vancouver Marathon Recap. It’s amazing people can run the exact same route, on the exact same day, and have such drastically different experiences. In the past couple days I’ve read a couple different recaps from runners I follow on Twitter, like Karla’s. And From Fit to Ripped. And felt inspired to get mine down while it’s still fresh. It was sad going to this race alone! I missed my running roomie. Am I packing enough gels? Did I sleep enough? What if I don&#...

Run With Zahida: Race Report: Steveston 8km Ice Breaker Road Race - February 1st, 2015
http://www.runwithzahida.com/2015/02/race-report-steveston-8km-ice-breaker.html
Sunday, February 1, 2015. Race Report: Steveston 8km Ice Breaker Road Race - February 1st, 2015. Today was my very first race of 2015, at the Steveston 8km Ice Breaker Road Race. So why was I slow today? The key is that I didn't train for this race the way I normally would. In fact I could argue that I didn't train at all for this race. The last 3 months having no races was a time of "active rest" focused on studying to get my personal training certification at BCPTI. If I truly respect the training I do...
