A great big "F- You" to mainstream, popular, media. Saturday, June 28, 2008. Rhapsody's 7 Deadly Sins Continue. So I'm ready to round this out now I think. A great big "F- You" to mainstream, popular, media. Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Scott Pilgrim vs. The Dead. Already I have to be sad that there are so few Mel Brooks comedies and so few Zucker, Abrahams, and Zucker films. Actually, that's a great example. Together, Zucker, Abrahams, and Zucker (or ZAZ for short) made movies like Airplane. Individually, they made movies like Baseketball. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Scott Pilgrim vs. The Dead. Yelling About Writing: The Future Sucks
http://yellingaboutwriting.blogspot.com/2011/05/future-sucks.html
A great big "F- You" to mainstream, popular, media. Saturday, May 14, 2011. At least, if Star Trek has anything to say about. Oh sure, it claims to present a revolutionary view of the future, where racism, sexism, war, poverty, and money have all been eliminated. It claims to offer hope for a better future. But that's not the reality, is it? Then worst of all is the treatment of women. The gain some degree of reasonable accomplishments in the later series, but in the original? I mean, really? A great big "F- You" to mainstream, popular, media. Sunday, January 30, 2011. What Ever Happened to Saturday Night (Live)? Remember when Saturday Night Live was good? Me neither. But hey, let's not be too hard on them. Coming up with new jokes, especially when it involves writing for a different celebrity host each week, cannot be easy. I'm supposed to update this blog that often and I can't even do that. And that's nothing compared to an hour and a half variety show. Right? Regardless of whether Will Fe...

Yelling About Writing: October 2009
http://yellingaboutwriting.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
A great big "F- You" to mainstream, popular, media. Friday, October 30, 2009. Now That Was Just Stupid. There's something that's been bothering me about horror movies that doesn't seem to be going away. It especially bothered me in Zombieland.
