Gearing Up for Change with AIP - Suburban Homesteader
http://suburbanhomesteader.com/change-to-aip
Too much rosemary, not enough thyme! Gearing Up for Change with AIP. May 12, 2015. While Meg over at OurMisAdventures. Starting Over with AIP. Who was I kidding? There was so much more I had to discover. I began to turn into one of those crazy blog-reading, health-crazy, anti-doctor (NOT true),. Buy organic foods when possible, and am now growing my own garden at our downtown residence. I even talked about raising chickens (the unbuilt coop has been in our shed since November and it’s what now, May?

Too much rosemary, not enough thyme! How to Milk a Coconut. July 18, 2015. How did I get desperate enough to ask… how to milk a coconut? Along with diary, I also had to give up coffee. I grew up in Seattle, you know, the birthplace of. Starbucks. I even have a gold star membership. Coffee made the world go round, or so I thought. So, no diary, no coffee… (I won’t depress you with the rest of the “no”s) What was I supposed to do for ENERGY? Then I saw it…. I was at my local downtown Grocery Outlet store a...

Suburban Homestead | Just another WordPress.com weblog
January 6, 2008, 10:12 am. Things are quiet at the start of the new year. The greens and garlic are still hanging on in the garden. We have been poring over seed catalogs and deciding what to plant in the spring. The bee equipment we ordered has started coming in. Now to assemble our hives and set them up! It’s funny to think that in a couple of months or so we will have a few thousand head of livestock in our own yard. It will be an interesting process, to be sure. The Year is Ending. I ordered the bees...

The Not-So Suburban Homestead Blog | Chronicles of a Gardening Family
The Not-So Suburban Homestead Blog. Chronicles of a Gardening Family. A New Back to Eden Garden! In Back to Eden. February 23, 2014. We finally got around to installing a Back to Eden garden at our new home, here in S.E. Oklahoma. We had purchased several sets of onions a few weeks back, and with the busyness of life, just haven’t been able to get them into the ground. Thankfully, we got it done, after lots of work, and the onions are ready to grow! Kittan was prowling around while we were working. :).
Suburban Homesteader - Too much rosemary, not enough thyme!
Too much rosemary, not enough thyme! How to Milk a Coconut. July 18, 2015. It’s been three and a half weeks since I began a strict autoimmune protocol (AIP) diet to address a few of my health problems. One of the staples that I was absolutely bummed about giving up was dairy. We have an amazing local farmers’ market vendor who sells the creamiest, non-homogenized whole milk with the cream sitting at the top of the gallon. Ohhhh, glorious dairy. Then I saw it…. Who knows, but I was going to. This girl...
