Bill Stankay is a composer, performer and sound designer specializing in atmospheric music production. His music flows into multiple streams, utilizing innovative sound architecture to shape the sonic landscapes in his work. In late 2011, he launched Sunfall Records. In the summer of 2012, Bill traveled to the Arctic region of Svalbard. From the Pittsburgh Arts Council. Performing in front of a dynamic visual show featuring drone footage of the Svalbard glacier regions shot by photographer Peter Cox.

Film "Deepwater Horizon", directed by Peter Berg (Lone Survivor) and starring Mark Wahlberg, Dylan O' Brien, Kate Hudson, Kurt Russell and John Malkovich. The Land" official trailer debuts. Bill collaborated with composer Jongnic Bontemps on the original score, providing custom sound design for the music centered around the percussive sounds of real skateboards.

Bill Stankay is a composer of atmospheric, alternative and electronic music. He is the creator of "Earthtones", an environmentally-inspired music experience developed in the remote Arctic region of Svalbard. Bill received an Artist Opportunity Grant from the Pittsburgh Arts Council. To help fund the release of the debut "Earthtones" album. It is slated for release in 2016. The first live performance of "Earthtones" was recently unveiled at the Oaks Theater in April of 2015.
