Frank & Lorraine from Egypt to Kilimanjaro: The Lalibela Rock Churches
http://ribbons2kili.blogspot.com/2011/03/lalibela-rock-churches.html
Frank and Lorraine from Egypt to Kilimanjaro. Friday, 18 March 2011. The Lalibela Rock Churches. After a night plagued by the noise of barking dogs and wedding revellers,. We switched hotels (or rather hotel compounds - a cheaper way of availing oneself of hotel facilities by in effect camping in the hotel grounds) to a beautifully situated hotel on the outskirts of town, "The Mountain View Hotel". Our second night was much quieter! 25 March 2011 at 12:04. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Frank & Lorraine from Egypt to Kilimanjaro: The road to Nairobi
http://ribbons2kili.blogspot.com/2011/03/road-to-nairobi.html
Frank and Lorraine from Egypt to Kilimanjaro. Sunday, 20 March 2011. The road to Nairobi. From Kombolcha we made it to Addis by mid afternoon and joy of joy, found our recommended camping site fairly easily. It was an oasis of green near the railway station in the heart of town. The only trouble was - barking dogs! Radiator repairs in Isiolo. Andy removed it and the guy in the shack repaired it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
