Willie Myette (RI) - Jazz Improvisation. Willie Myette has toured both the U.S. and Europe as clinician and performer. He is a graduate of the renowned Berklee College of Music. He has studied in New York with Fred Hersch and in Boston with Ray Santisi. Willie has produced three recordings as bandleader and his music has been featured on radio stations nationwide. University of Louisville Suzuki Piano Institute. Praise for Previous Institutes from Parents, Teachers, and Students. Teachers are all so amazing. My kids learned more than I could have imagined. My son has grown a lot this week. He has grown in his music- but more than that, I have noticed him grow as a person and as a member of a very special group of people. A great confidence builder and motivator. The facilities are excellent: good pianos, good recital hall, easy layout. Perfect.

The student curriculum consists of four hours of classes per day: one piano class and three enrichment classes. Classes take place between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, plus evening recitals. It is a fun, but full week, so if possible, local students should devote the entire week to the Institute. University of Louisville Suzuki Piano Institute. University policy requires that minors on campus be accompanied at all times by their parent.

University of Louisville Suzuki Piano Institute. Dorm Housing - Bettie Johnson Hall. 1900 South 4th Street. Walking distance to the School of Music. Dorm apartments with 1 to 4 bedroom units available. 36 per person per night for ages 11 and older; no tax. Children 10 and under are free! Reserve by May 1st. Non-refundable after May 15th. Living room, full kitchen (no cookware), private bedrooms, bathroom. Courtyard with sand volleyball and corn hole games. Dorm check in on Sunday, June 19th: 2:00-7:00 pm.
