The View From Sunnymountain Street: May 2010
http://theviewfromsunnymountainstreet.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
The View From Sunnymountain Street. IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE? The author at work? Thursday, 27 May 2010. The Sands of Time. And now the end is near, and so I face the final curtain.and damn me if it isn`t dirty, I`ll have to pop it into the wash. That`s one more job I have to do in the dying days of what I had thought was my long planned for early retirement. And can you, hand on heart, say you would have done it differently? At least we seem to have the nanny situation sorted. Last night the lads ...

The View From Sunnymountain Street: Rich Man Poor Man
http://theviewfromsunnymountainstreet.blogspot.com/2010/06/rich-man-poor-man.html
The View From Sunnymountain Street. IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE? The author at work? Tuesday, 15 June 2010. Rich Man Poor Man. Yes I am back. Sorry. People never ask me how I manage to combine a high maintenance wife with a new job and still manage to produce this wonderfully entertaining and insightful blog. Easy, now that I am rich I simply employ poor people to write most of it for me. The pittance that is left over I am allowed to put towards surprise presents for the wife and daughter. Any remain...

From St.Reatham to Switzerland: Q: How many men does it take to open a beer? .... A: None, it should be open when she brings it to you.

From St.Reatham to Switzerland. Wednesday, 5 May 2010. Q: How many men does it take to open a beer? A: None, it should be open when she brings it to you. Don't get me wrong - it does drive me insane sometimes that with every new advancement seems to come another reason for humans to whinge when something doesn't work. "OMG my iPhone app that pinpoints my exact location to within a square foot and tells me the current weather conditions and temperature isn't working! What am I going to do? D: If I explain...

From St.Reatham to Switzerland: December 2009
http://fromstreathamtoswitzerland.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
From St.Reatham to Switzerland. Friday, 11 December 2009. In the Christmas spirit (literally). So, one thing they do very well here is Christmas. None of these cheap neon plastic stars and trees hanging from lamp posts that you get in the 'burbs in the UK. Here its glitz and glamour all the way. I love it! The train station here has a 30ft Swarovski crystal Christmas Tree in it! I finished my job 2 weeks ago, so am officially unemployed for the duration of December at least. Check it out here. Anyway, be...

http://fromstreathamtoswitzerland.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
From St.Reatham to Switzerland. Friday, 30 October 2009. What else have I noticed in my first week in Switzerland? Oh yeah - the transport! I started off the week with a train journey into work - I was 7 minutes early to the platform and the train was sitting there - waiting for me! Feeling like you need a week in the Priory - it was quite disconcerting to arrive at my stop feeling so chilled out and still with my hair in the same style I put it in before I left the house! There's not much I know about S...

The View From Sunnymountain Street: September 2009
http://theviewfromsunnymountainstreet.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
The View From Sunnymountain Street. IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE? The author at work? Friday, 25 September 2009. I am feeling better now. I have decided to establish this blog as a resource, or seed bank, of negligent father stories. Future generations/social services will be able to look back on this record and marvel/use as evidence when taking children into care. The first tale comes courtesy of our London correspondent. A friend of his (do we think this is one of those my mate stories? Anyway, from one...

From St.Reatham to Switzerland: November 2009
http://fromstreathamtoswitzerland.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
From St.Reatham to Switzerland. Sunday, 22 November 2009. I can't climb a mountain in my Louboutins! However, I am caught in something of a dilemma when it comes to 'dressing for the climb'. I come from the school of thought that it doesn't do any harm to look the best you can when indulging in any activity - be it running, climing, bobsleigh, shot-put, sky diving, shopping or doing the housework. its ok to make an effort! Was it proven to be dangerously full of E numbers or chemicals? I promised myself ...

The View From Sunnymountain Street: March 2010
http://theviewfromsunnymountainstreet.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The View From Sunnymountain Street. IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE? The author at work? Tuesday, 30 March 2010. Well I finally found out what all the hullabaloo was about from last week. Apparently the Daughters of the American Revolution have now split into two factions, those that are stay at home mums and those that want to go back to work. But it has got me thinking. Should I go back to work? I have always been upwardly mobile. I used to live in a valley and I now live on a mountain.Surely at the...Basic...
