Kavita Maharaj is an internationally recognized Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT500), Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist (SA), Senior Yoga Teacher (YogaBC) and Yoga Teacher Trainer (director of Red Door Yoga , a Registered Yoga School). Her introduction to yoga began over 30 years ago when her father, Krishna Maharaj Sharma, a traditionally practicing Yogi, introduced her to Kriya Yoga.

My current class schedule. I started doing yoga in 2009 after playing with the Wii fit. After I got the courage to go to a class I stated to find out that there was more to yoga than getting a good stretch. The teachers I studied with were amazing at relaying the impact that yoga can have on your life. I completed my 200 hr teacher training with RDY in Sept 2015. Hatha 7 to 8 pm Sundays.
