Friday, January 15, 2010. Slumber parties are so fun. I am having a blast watching Courtney and her friends tonight. Dance games, talk of boys, board games, snacks, movies, make up, dares, giggles, hands on hips, hair flipping, talk of boys, diaries, pajamas, pranks and oh did I mention talk of boys? They are hilarious to watch. There are only four of them but it sounds like there are 20 of them. Who knows how much sleep they will get tonight but it is OK, they are having a blast. Monday, June 01, 2009. Fun activities with the kids. The end of the school year is such a busy time but a fun time. Cody has a social studies play his class put on and he had a great time. Caitlyn graduated from preschool, too bad she still has 2 more years until kindergarten. Coutney got to dress up like an author and chose Dr. Seuss. They had to pretend they were in a wax museum and we would press the middle of their palms and they would repeat facts they had learned about their author.

Monday, September 28, 2009. We just got back from Disneyland and we were able to go with Jesse's side of the family for a Family Reunion. What a wonderful time. Jesse had been in India for 3 weeks and this was great to have some family time when he got back. They kids had a blast and did not want to slow down. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. The Life of Charles Curtis. I will always be thankful for the weeks they took me in their home while my parents worked on my room to make it more allergies friendly. I had to do chores, but I was able to watch the Star Wars movies as many times as I wanted. I am also thankful for the time that I was his home teaching companion and for his devotion to the people he visited. Between my grandpa and my dad, I learned what it meant to be a good home teacher.
