A little place for my little thoughts. Sunday, October 29, 2006. It's official, I'm a bag! Penguin Rock: November 2006
http://pengwinrock.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
A little place for my little thoughts. Sunday, November 26, 2006. It was only 5 mins to the Peak Tram and despite the awful weather, I. Followed by the last day. A late start thanks to the packing and checking out. The city had chosen to disappear behind cloud on the one day that I just wanted to look out the window and see it all. The YMCA did indeed give me the best harbour view I could have wanted (or afforded) and it seemed a shame to lose it on the. Day I was leaving. Saturday, November 25, 2006.

Penguin Rock: May 2007
http://pengwinrock.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
A little place for my little thoughts. Sunday, May 13, 2007. This is a Diana concept. She believes that if you state what you want, it will come. Sounds very "Field of Dreams" but let's put it to the test. I want to be with someone who is fun, who cherishes me for who I am, who knows what it takes to have an adult relationship, who communicates and is not afraid to live life to the full. Okay D, I'll let you know how it works out! Tuesday, May 08, 2007. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Penguin Rock: Back in the running
http://pengwinrock.blogspot.com/2007/04/back-in-running.html
A little place for my little thoughts. Sunday, April 22, 2007. Back in the running. I've started running again, now that my ribs are healed. There are lots of reasons to keep running. 1/ I don't want to return to tubby tubster territory. 2/ It's a great way to wind down after work. 3/ Gives me a sense of freedom and time for contemplation in the great outdoors. 4/ I'm gunning for a sub 2hr half marathon time. 5/ The London Marathon was on today and I felt inspired to keep going. http://pengwinrock.blogspot.com/2007/04/new-toy.html
A little place for my little thoughts. Friday, April 27, 2007. Amazing, isn't it? Which not only allows me to use my Skype contact list, Skypeout credit for landline calls but also my Windows Live Messenger contacts too! Connecting via the Wifi function lets me do it all for free using my domestic router so no more scrabbling around to plug my USB phone into my computer etc. Oh wireless bliss! Penguin Rock: September 2006
http://pengwinrock.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
A little place for my little thoughts. Sunday, September 24, 2006. Restaurant review: Bell's Diner. This is it. This is the restaurant I've been looking for since I arrived in Bristol. Okay, maybe I haven't been looking hard enough to have only found it after 1 1/2 years but I've been busy, alright? Matthew and I went to Bell's Diner. Yes, very but the service was such that we didn't notice. All in all, excellent. The wine list was not extortionate and we had a lovely rioja for £24. The bill...I loved it...

Penguin Rock: Restaurant review: Joe's Shanghai
http://pengwinrock.blogspot.com/2007/06/restaurant-review-joes-shanghai.html
A little place for my little thoughts. Saturday, June 16, 2007. Restaurant review: Joe's Shanghai. It's been a whole 6 months since my last xiao long bao bliss at. Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao Restaurant in Hong Kong. The wrappers were translucent, the soup lusciously sweet and rich and the meat moist and with the perfect texture. With that in mind, we rolled off flight VS009 and straight into Chinatown to the now legendary Joe's Shanghai. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Penguin Rock: Lickey Hills, Chew Valley and other interesting names...
http://pengwinrock.blogspot.com/2007/04/lickey-hills-chew-valley-and-other.html
A little place for my little thoughts. Sunday, April 15, 2007. Lickey Hills, Chew Valley and other interesting names. Just had a very long night on call, good, but long. I passed out for a few hours on returning home but needed to clear out some cobwebs so Andy and I headed off to Lickey Hills. And how amazingly dense the blue banks were, a mixture of bluebell perfume and savoury scents of wild garlic. I went for a walk around the Chew Valley Resevoir. I've been in Brum for two weeks but already feel set...
