Jason explaining his tattoo to Aubrey. “Nec Temere Nec Timide” which means “Nor Timid nor Afraid”. This is on the Bent Family Coat of Arms. I really like the symbolism of his tattoo. The New Adventures of the Bents. January 1, 2012. This past year has been a crazy one for sure. I would like to go back and look at the development that brought us to this point, for sure. That will require time on my part, which currently I am short on. But it feels good to be blogging again and sharing my ideas about my life. I will be posting pics of the renovation Jason has done to give him his due credit! The dream is slowly coming to life, and I look forward to sharing our adventure with all of you!

Sunday, August 28, 2011. To start our vacation week we went with the Merrill and Collier families to the zoo on Mon. It was so fun. The kids had a great time! The animals were perfect too. We got to see just about everything in action. The monkeys were SSSOOO loud! They kept going and going. Owen couldn't help but become one of them. The snakes were pretty cool. Nellie has been having horrible dreams about them so we made a point to see all the snakes we could and show her that they aren't that bad.

Miss Brooke was very specific on how she wanted her egg contraption designed. "I am going to put my egg in a little baggie, because that is what Mrs. Fisher told us to do, then I am going to fold my pillow in half and you can tape it up." Well then! Brooke's response to the status of the egg, " it's all good mom because I only like scrambled eggs anyway!

The crazy days of Deb. Thursday, May 17, 2012. So the other day I told the kids that I wanted to take some action shots with my new camera, did I mention that I love, love, love my new camera. They love jumping on the trampoline so when you put active kiddos together with a trampoline you get amazing action shots! But the kiddos look cool. : ). I was rather impressed with Ash's split jump. This is what I looked like in my head, not so much on the camera! His tongue just cracks me up! He always has it out.
