Just a Dash of Chaos! Tuesday, July 28, 2009. T'was a great day! We went to African Lion Safari yesterday and had no rain! The kids really enjoyed it - no fighting, no complaining, just a nice easy - go with the flow kind of day at the Safari. Verrrrry nice. I mean, my house isn't DIRTY, it's just far from clean. Just a Dash of Chaos! Thursday, June 26, 2008. Last day of semi peace and quiet. Well - summer vacation officially starts at 3:10 today. I still don't have plans made for the summer - but with the current price of gas I don't think that I plan to do all that much! Day trips here and there maybe but no big summer trip like we've had the past couple of years. Wanna make bets that the kids DO NOT sleep in tomorrow? Rock out like they do so well! I'm a huge Aerosmith fan and these guys do it REALLY WELL!

Just a Dash of Chaos! Thursday, June 17, 2010. The Passing of Life. I've been watching my MIL die. MIL was diagnosed with lung cancer in October last year and was doing relatively ok until about a month ago. The Monday after the May 2-4 long weekend actually. All of a sudden she didn't want to get out of bed. For a couple of days. Then she started talking about crazy stuff, not knowing who people were, talking to people who weren't there, etc. The best MIL I could have asked for. I'm TRYING to be her roc...

Just a Dash of Chaos! Friday, August 29, 2008. Today's the big day! We get to find out who Coco's teacher is this year today. She's been anxious all week waiting to see who her teacher is. LOL I've requested that she NOT get put into a split class, as did her teacher from last year - but knowing our school, she'll get put into a split class UGH. wish us luck. It's also the last "official" day of summer holidays! I mean, yes, there is this last long weekend - but as far as school days off - today is IT.

Just a Dash of Chaos! Monday, March 7, 2011. Is it over yet? Winter just keeps dragging on and on and on and honestly, it's wearing me out :(. The salt on my carpet. The de-frosting of the car every morning. It's just all such a friggin bother - really! Yearning for the days of sunshine, shorts, cute little skirts, t-shirts, sandals and most importantly ONLY TAKING A MINUTE TO GET READY TO LEAVE THE HOUSE!
