Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Today Blake's Battalion got together and had a family day. The morning was spent watching the soldiers doing things like playing volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, tug of war, and relays. The kids had face painting and a bounce house. We got to have lunch - hamburgers and hot dogs and there were vehicles that the kids were able to see. Jacob did NOT like the bounce house. Playing on the rope bridge. (His feet are off the ground.). Watching the soldiers run relays with sandbags.

Monday, April 30, 2012. Two posts in one day! Not really. But we had a REALLY yummy dinner tonight and I wanted to share it. 2 ½ lbs chuck steak, cut into bite size pieces. 1 pkg onion soup mix. 1 – 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes (I used fire roasted). Green pepper, diced. 1 tsp beef bullion granules. Preheat oven to 350*. Line 13x9” pan with foil and add chuck steak. Sprinkle steak with soup mix. Drain diced tomatoes, reserving juices. Add tomatoes and peppers to steak. Mix ½ c cold water and flour.
