Friday, May 18, 2012. Our strawberry picking class trip was originally postponed because of rain, so the children were especially happy that the rescheduled date worked out. The day was warm and sunny, and the strawberries were abundant. One of Ethan's classmates started calling him "Strawberry-Master," since he was an exceptionally fast picker. He's a roly-poly, flip-flopper, so I worry about him getting cold without a blanket on top of him all night. This bag solves the problem! After seeing lots of variations on hanging jewelry organizers on Pinterest, I knew exactly what to do with a plain, unfinished frame that I had been saving for a tbd project. I picked up some small S-hooks, chicken wire (or "poultry fencing," according to the packaging), and some paint. Smiling the entire time (love this color! Wednesday, February 15, 2012. After a bit of a productivity wave, the crafting and organizing has come to a screeching halt again. I was able to make this covered clipboard for Ellie. She loves to draw, write, and just doodle in notebooks. It's so sweet how she likes to practice writing words and sentences. I love finding uses for my extensive stash of scrapbooking paper!
