http://lifestoughbutimtougher.blogspot.com/2011/06/kendalls-sixth-birthday.html
Life's Tough But I'm Tougher. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. One of my little buddies had a birthday this past Friday. Miss Kendall turned six! She had a great party on Friday night with a Tangled. Kendall was born on my Dad's 59th birthday, so he turned 65 this year. I congratulated him on officially becoming a senior citizen. :). Here are a few photos from Kendall's birthday party. Grandpa Ed decided to have a John Deere cake instead. I should have some more posts coming soon. We had a very busy weekend! I'm L...

Life's Tough But I'm Tougher: Maurey & Lori Werner
http://lifestoughbutimtougher.blogspot.com/2011/06/maurey-lori-werner.html
Life's Tough But I'm Tougher. Thursday, June 9, 2011. Maurey and Lori Werner. On Saturday June 4, something wonderful happened. Even if it was about 100 degrees (or at least felt like 100 degrees), it was a beautiful day for Maurey and Lori to get married. Our family has always been close with the Werners and I've known Lori since high school, so I knew we would have a great time at the wedding. It did not disappoint. Mr and Mrs. Werner. They might be one of the cutest couples ever. I'm Lacey. I have...

Life's Tough But I'm Tougher: Sled Riding
http://lifestoughbutimtougher.blogspot.com/2011/01/sled-riding.html
Life's Tough But I'm Tougher. Sunday, January 23, 2011. Just when we thought we were done with snow for a little while, we got some more. It snowed 4-5" last Thursday. (And yes, it is supposed to snow again. This week.) I always enjoy going sled riding with my little buddies and it is even better when we can go down their Grandma and Grandpa Buechler's driveway. They have the perfect place for sled riding. Those two are my best form of therapy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Life's Tough But I'm Tougher: Waiting to Get Shelved
http://lifestoughbutimtougher.blogspot.com/2011/08/waiting-to-get-shelved.html
Life's Tough But I'm Tougher. Friday, August 5, 2011. Waiting to Get Shelved. Long time, no post. Sorry about that. We've just been a little busy with adoption meetings and the Strassenfest. I just wanted to fill everyone in on our last meeting. We went up to St. Elizabeth's on Wednesday, and we got a lot of information and homework. That is so exciting! We didn't realize we were almost to this point. We hope and pray that a birth mother will see the potential we have to become parents to their child.

Thirty little fingers and toes!: January 2014
http://maurertrips.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Thirty little fingers and toes! Saturday, January 25, 2014. Ode to my Buddy Love. Well, as 2014 does bring excitement for a new home, and new jobs in the Maurer house, it also brought sadness. The story of Hendrix is one of rags to riches if you will. Hendrix came to us about 10 years ago, after we had to put our cat to sleep. Jasmine had started to mourn the cat, they so enjoyed tourchering each other! She also talked to Todd, and asked him to give Hendrix another chance when he was healthy. He has the ...

Small Town City: July 2012
http://smalltc.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 26, 2012. Last weekend Rachel, Noah, and Maddie, our good friends from southern Indiana, made the trip to St. Louis with my parents. They arrived around lunch time on Saturday, so we grilled some burgers and dogs and let the kids play at the house. The fun continued Saturday evening as we spent a few hours in Shaw Park. We picked up Wing Stop. Boneless wings and fries for dinner and enjoyed a little picnic. It was perfect. Posted by Jodi @ Small Town City. Thursday, July 19, 2012. When Wil...

Thirty little fingers and toes!: June 2012
http://maurertrips.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thirty little fingers and toes! Saturday, June 30, 2012. We had a very Happy 2nd Birthday celebration for Owen, Lilly, and Grey. They enjoyed a bunch of presents, catering by Boston Market, and a good Elmo cake. I will not bore you about all of Grey's ear infections, and Lilly's severe reaction to Amoxicillin that landed her in the ER, and Owen's seizure caused by a sudden high fever. All caused by strep. (URGH! But we have had other eventful things this June. One pose looks like his senior pictures.

Thirty little fingers and toes!: May 2012
http://maurertrips.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Thirty little fingers and toes! Saturday, May 19, 2012. It's May, and these kids are almost 2! Wow, I cannot believe they are going to be 2 years old June 16th. To think of those days makes my head spin.and, as you will see, not much has changed with things that make my head spin. We have gone to random playgrounds, trying to keep these kids busy. We have been to the zoo several times. They never cease to amaze me what new things they pick up wherever we go! This is our new playhouse/climber. She hums an...

Itty Bitty In New York City: February 2015Itty Bitty in New York City
http://ittybittyinnewyorkcity.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 22, 2015. Several days before William's six month checkup, it snowed a foot and temperatures fell below 0 degrees. Ben was out of town for work. What timing! On the morning of William's appointment, our friend, Jonathan, stopped by to say hi. Thank goodness he came by because my car wouldn't start. With limited options and time, we loaded William, his car seat, his car seat base, his diaper bag, and myself into Jonathan's sporty, fast car. He had no idea that was only the beginning.
