Anton and Julie opened The Lion’s Head in November 2007, since when they have made a few changes which include knocking down a large defunct chimney to create a larger bar area, and adding a patio seating area to compliment the outside (a super sun trap in the summer). Anton and Julie pride themselves on the quality and variety of beers that are offered at The Lion’s Head. We have regular Theme Nights which are very popular and usually get booked up very quickly. BBQ Evening - Saturday 18th July. Only 9.95 per head. Bookings now being taken. We have a regular Quiz Night the second Sunday evening in every Month at 8.00pm. They are held for local charities and regulars often choose to host one themselves (which allows Anton and Julie to participate in the Quiz which they enjoy). Teams of up to a maximum of 4 players with entry 5 per team all proceeds to charity.
