The Listening Centre (TLC) is a low-cost counselling service in Blackbird Leys, Rose Hill and Barton, serving the people of Oxford who cannot afford private counselling fees. ABOUT THE LISTENING CENTRE (TLC). TLC has offered affordable counselling to people in East Oxford since 1993. Mostly, our clients are from Blackbird Leys, Barton, Rose Hill, Cowley and Littlemore. We have a team of volunteer counsellors and psychotherapists. Some of these are in training. The Listening Centre (TLC) offers an opportunity for trainee counsellors and psychotherapists to work with individual clients on a time-limited basis whilst completing their training and working towards qualification. Applications from qualified counsellors are also welcome. What TLC requires of you.
