Patti's Peach Basket: July 2012
http://pattispeachbasket.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Peaches and Cream and a Little Southern Hospitality. Rules of the South. Monday, July 16, 2012. My Husband to the Rescue. Sometimes it only takes a little pressure washing and paint to bring a piece of furniture back to life. My mother in law had this cute child's bench in her back yard but over the years it had weathered. Each time my grand daughter sat in it, dirt and grime would get all over her clothes. (Drum Roll). My husband to the rescue! This is a BEFORE Picture. Would you want to sit on that?

Peaches and Cream and a Little Southern Hospitality. Rules of the South. Sunday, January 22, 2012. My husband has always talked about one of his favorite desserts when he was a child was butter roll pie. One weekend while visiting his mother, she made a butter roll pie. Since I have always heard about this famous pie, I wanted to watch and learn how to make it. The first step is to make the dough like biscuits and roll it out. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar and lots of butter! Roll it up and slice. Middot; ...

Patti's Peach Basket: September 2012
http://pattispeachbasket.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Peaches and Cream and a Little Southern Hospitality. Rules of the South. Sunday, September 16, 2012. Since school started back I haven't much time to work on any projects. The first few weeks of school are always very hectic. Things are calming down now and I have been able to complete a few things. This is my latest:. I have noticed that vintage book displays are very popular right now. I have seen them in lots of gift shops and they are kind of pricey for old torn books so I decided to make my own.

Patti's Peach Basket: June 2013
http://pattispeachbasket.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Peaches and Cream and a Little Southern Hospitality. Rules of the South. Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Refurbished Bar Stools and Another Initial. This past fall when my husband had a roof installed over our deck, he added something else to the railing that was very creative and useful. He added a small bar shelf that extends all around the deck. Now all we needed were a couple of stools. We already had some that were in pretty bad shape so I got out the old trusty paint brush. Now to duplicate it. So many DIY...

Patti's Peach Basket: April 2012

Peaches and Cream and a Little Southern Hospitality. Rules of the South. Sunday, April 22, 2012. It has been several weeks since I have updated my blog. We have been working on several more projects that I will post about when they are finished. In the meantime, I want to show you something wonderful that my neighbor did to her front stairway. We have this fun thing between us that whenever we do something in each of our homes, we have a BIG REVEAL! I was so surprised. Isn't is beautiful! It is so chic.

Monday, December 26, 2011. Ugly Sweater Party and Christmas 2011. The ugly Christmas sweater party was a success but I don't think Mom got the memo about the "ugly" Christmas sweater part. I complimented Denise on the wonderfully heinous sweater she was wearing (below) and told her that she could sell it on Ebay for a hefty sum because it looked like Christmas threw up on her. Mom overheard me and said "HEY! Sweater and it's not ugly. I just wore that to church on Sunday! What a cute little manager scene.

Cooking, crafting and raising a family.all in a northern town. 31 Days of Wine. Thursday, January 3, 2013. No post since July. I know. I’m a horrible blogger. We’ve had a very busy house the last few months. And sometimes living life is more important than documenting life. Anywho, here’s what’s been going on. Peachy turned 2. RC started first grade. And I went back to school. At 36. What was I thinking? My SIL got married! We also did a little DIY in late September. The main floor half bath was driv...

Craft in a Northern Town: February 2014

Cooking, crafting and raising a family.all in a northern town. 31 Days of Wine. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Anyone remember the Pizza Hut Book It reading program. Did you know it’s still around? I had no clue. I was thinking about writing a post on the books I’ve read lately and it popped into my head. My sister and I were champion Book It-ers. It was a treat to go to Pizza Hut when we were young, so having our Book It coupons was great. Pepperoni personal pan pizza please! That would be awesome! Along...

Who wants to be Miss Goody? She only has TWO shoes! Monday, October 31, 2011. At the beginning of the month, I made a commitment to join NaBloPoMo to write a blog post every day for the month of October. Just let me say it was a struggle. Some days were easy, some day were difficult. Some post were good and some were not so good. But now it's October 31 and all I can say is. And I will see you tomorrow. Links to this post. Sunday, October 30, 2011. Let's start when Baby Susan was about 10 months old.
