Palsaik Samgyupsal Korean BBQ. Palsaik Samgyupsal Korean BBQ. June 16, 2013. June 16, 2013. I’ve known about this place ever since I started going to Ktown for Korean BBQ. They are most famous for their pork belly 8 ways. Strips of fatty pork bellies marinated in 8 different sauces. It is located in a large Korean plaza with a lot of parking, unlike most crammed Korean plazas that only offers valet parking. The 8 sauces are: original, bourbon, ginseng, garlic, herb, curry, miso paste and red pepper paste.

W Afternoon Tea – oh my eats
https://ohmyeats.com/2013/04/11/w-afternoon-tea
April 11, 2013. April 11, 2013. Afternoon tea set with a nice view of Taipei 101. What more can I ask for? Good quality tea, and unlimited hot water refill. Rose and Passion Fruit Macarons with Cream Cheese Cup. We were too full to eat these, so we packed them to go! Meisan Pork Neck and Onion Buns and Handmade Smoked Salmon. They were standard, I only remember the buns were a bit too much and not enough meat inside. Salmon was smoked and yummy, too bad they only gave us a tiny piece. Both pastries are f...

June 27, 2013. July 9, 2013. Chill Tuesday night with girlfriend and some girls talk. This place is located on 6th and Hope in downtown LA, right across from the Standard and right next to Library Bar. It’s a gastropub with industrial looking interior and patio seating facing both streets. With fairly small amount of seats, all of the tables are communal and you order food and drinks at the bar. They have a nice selection of draft beers written on the wall. We got Obsidian. And Old Speckle Hen. Chicken w...

April 24, 2013. April 24, 2013. Nduja – Toasted Crostini with Spicy Calabrese Salami Spread. Spicy salami chopped up as a spread with toasted bread, it was delicious. I never seen this appetizer at any other places so we got this one. Salami was very flavorful with a nice kick. It was so good we even finished the salami even though we ran out of bread. Arancini Di Maccheroni – Pasts Fritters with Groronzola Cheese Fondue. Prosciutto with Fresh Mozzarella and Arugula. This is my favorite one! Their truffl...

July 9, 2013. July 9, 2013. My first time back to NYC after 15 years, I was a bit overwhelmed and didn’t know where and what I should eat in a city that has thousands of restaurants and casual dining places. Amuse Bouche – Blue Cheese Cream with Roasted Beets and Walnut. Amuse Bouche – Cheese with Truffle. A simple amuse bouche, nothing too special but it was still good. We decided to get. To go with our brunch. It was crispy and a little dry. It paired well with our set lunch. It had generous amount of ...

Son of a Gun – Graham Elliot. Son of a Gun – Graham Elliot. May 2, 2013. May 2, 2013. Son of a Gun is one of the most famous restaurants in LA, it is also the sister restaurant of Animal. Animal focuses on different animal body parts and heavy, hearty taste. Son of a Gun is more seafood based and slightly lighter on taste. I dined at Son of a Gun before, seafood tapas with a few meat dishes. It was good but it was more on the pricier side. King Crab, Pea Variations, Wild Fennel with Chili Threads. This w...
