WALKING SHOE: January 2008
http://walkingshoe.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Black Holes For The Young. The late 90s weren't the most social years for me. I was an anxious, insecure, depressed agoraphobe. Aside from the first, and highly anticipated, tours to Australia of the Manic Street Preachers. After a few weeks of interacting on the NME chatroom I began exchanging private messages (or "PMs" as they are know in chatroom and message boards across the web) with a girl whose screen name was mydarkstar. Named after the B-side to Suede's Stay Together.

WALKING SHOE: March 2010
http://walkingshoe.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 05, 2010. FIA punctures Serbian hopes. The FIA's decision not to allow Serbian outfit Stefan GP to race in this year's Formula 1 championship would not just be heartbreaking for Serbian racing fans, but also for the country's EU-enthusiasts as well. WALKING SHOE: May 2008
http://walkingshoe.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 31, 2008. Is the brand I use for most of my feminine hygiene purposes. I started using Simple. This morning I ran out of Simple's Softening Facial Cleansing Mousse. So I took a walk from my parents place (where I was attempting to write an essay, away from the hustle and bustle of my inner-city neighbourhood) to the Priceline. Range, immediately I grabbed a bottle of Softening Facial Cleansing Mousse. Range, it seemed that they had a series of products titled Regeneration. I read that the p...

WALKING SHOE
http://walkingshoe.blogspot.com/2009/05/its-strange-that-you-dont-have-smell.html
Tuesday, May 05, 2009. It’s strange that you don’t have a smell. For if you’re real I cannot tell. Despite the fact I feel your presence. It clear to me you have no essence. There’s nothing much a human knows. That cannot be filtered through our nose. Attraction, reaction and satisfaction. It all requires olfactory traction. To feel, to love, to laugh and yell. These joys of life they need a smell. So for you your heart will always sink. Because it’s unfortunate, but love it stinks. The Music Of Weapons.

WALKING SHOE: July 2008
http://walkingshoe.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 22, 2008. High On Diesel And Gasoline. Before the inevitable cocktail of smack, crack and old age kicked in, Brett Anderson was a lyrical genius. Now before you all choke on your Pitchfork Media bookmarks, just hear me out. Whilst the less self-conscious amongst the music intelligentsia will be willing to admit that the band's self-titled debut and its follow up, Dog Man Star. Is quite the masterpiece. Far from being some bullshit Britpop brush-aside, Coming Up. Also contains some of the be...

WALKING SHOE: March 2008
http://walkingshoe.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 29, 2008. Several months ago I stumbled across your cover of Eating Noddemix. By Young Marble Giants. I liked it a lot. In fact I liked it so much that I added it as my profile song on my Myspace page. However, a little while back I replaced it with (Lack of love) Will Tear Us Apart. By The Honeydrips. That's a great song, isn't it? I think you used to be in a band with the guy from The Honeydrips, didn't you? I don't know how this happened, but it did! I was very pleased! At a festival i...

WALKING SHOE: Love For Sure
http://walkingshoe.blogspot.com/2008/11/love-for-sure.html
Tuesday, November 04, 2008. I said sweetly as we nuzzled our noses together. "Jag älska dig också". She replied with a grin. We giggled, made cooing noises and held each other tight. Ursäkta mig, talar du engelska? I said, knowing that my limited Swedish would falter in a proper conversation. "Ja, I do". Just as I thought the conversation was starting to dissolve, and she would make her excuses to leave, to my surprise she started to ask questions of me: Where was I form? What was I doing in Stockholm?

WALKING SHOE: The Book Lovers
http://walkingshoe.blogspot.com/2008/07/book-of-love.html
Wednesday, July 02, 2008. A trip to the psychologist. Hello, Grant. How are you? I'm feeling great, Doctor Clarke! I met a girl! That's excellent. What's her name? I don't know yet. Well, I haven't actually spoken to her. But you said you'd met her? I know where she works. Borders, in the city. I go in there every few days just to see her. So this is a girl you do not know, have not engaged in any conversation with, yet you go to her place of employment every few days to see her? I think it's nice. It's ...
