Family, beach, and love. the best week! Look how cute Scott is carrying our nephew on his shoulders. I still cant believe the amazing weather we had the whole trip! We made a little friend on the beach. He came and hung out for a little, and then returned to his home. He was just a cute little baby. Second love of my life! Our family got a puppy a few months back and her name is Lula! I am officially one of those crazy people who love their dog now. but seriously, how cute is she? Her name is Lula, but we have quite a few nicknames for her such as: Lou, Louie, RuRa, Roo, Lucifer, Baby Puppy, Rooster (one of my faves). She has already learned how to sit, lay, shake, high five, and catch treats off of her nose. We go for hikes almost every day now and she is my favorite hiking buddy! Say Yes To Hoboken.

I just found out the Twilight Concert Series lineup and man am I stoked! No not twilight as in Jacob vs Edward, but the free. Concerts that SLC has kindly put on for me the past few years. The location has changed (probably for the better) to Pioneer park. As for the lineup. drumroll please. July 8- Modest Mouse and Avi Buffalo. July 15- Girl Talk. July 29- The New Pornographers and Dodos. August 5- Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. August 26- She and Him. I couldn't be more proud of my college grad!

I've been having fun in my computer applications and I wanted to share my latest project. I had to turn a photo I have taken into an abstract picture. It's pretty fun! Some things I have been loving lately. For some reason I woke up this morning with so much gratitude in my heart. Some of the small things that have been making me so happy are:. 1 My Scott helping me become a better person each day. 3 Adobe illustrator (the possibilities are endless! 6 Exercising on a more regular basis. Nick graduated from BYU in the Marriott School of Business for marketing. Go Nick! I'm so proud of him! But I am also sad. He moved back home to Carlsbad, and left me in Utah! I'm on board with Jimmermania! But I also have been a BYU basketball fan since I moved up to Utah. In fact, I almost turned down my first date with my now husband because I wanted to go to a game instead. I love college basketball and have been to more games that most BYU students! We had sooo much fun this season! I even was lucky enough to go to Denver to watch them dominate Gonzaga. These are just a few highlights of the season. Can you find me? I can finally have some privacy when I shower! Before, we were just using the plastic liner as our main shower curtain. I am so picky when it comes to shower curtains so I decided to just make my own. I still need to iron it, but I was just too excited to put it up! On friday, Scott and I went to the Strawberry Days Rodeo in Pleasant Grove. We had sooo much fun. I couldn't believe it! It doesn't hurt to dream. Can I have all of these swimsuits? The Douglas C. and Lynn M. Roberts Family Foundation will support charitable programs that improve the quality of life in DeKalb County, Illinois. The Spring grant cycle is completed. The application deadline for 2015 Fall grants is October 15th.
