Requirements of The Step House:. Residency is for a period of not less than 1 (one) year. Resident will obtain employment within 10 days. Pay weekly rent of $140.00 each Friday. Non-Refundable Admittance Fee of $250.00. Get Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Sponsor and work the 12-Step Program of AA. Attend not less than 1 12-Step fmeeting per day (2 if unemployed). Perform Service Work, as directed by Management and/or Sponsor. NO MIND-ALTERING SUBSTANCES OF ANY KIND AT ANY TIME! You may download documents here:.

One of the ways that helps in recovery is to learn how to give back to society, as we were takers in our addictions. We sometimes provide service work when people call that are in need of help with moving or mowing their lawns. These things that the residents do give them the opportunity to learn how to get out of the selfishness that their addictions taught them and get into giving of themselves and their time. .
