This Little Blog of Mine. Tuesday, May 13, 2014. We first met Benjamin/Sasha at his orphanage about 8 months ago. We have been home with him for about 5 months. This picture is from the very first day that we met him in Pishanna. It is not all perfect by any means, but a deep longing in him has been fulfilled. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of us meeting Sasha (when I think back on that time, I can only think of Benjamin as Sasha! This Little Blog of Mine. Saturday, April 26, 2014. On a Lighter Note. In addition to some heavy stuff over the past few weeks, which I blogged about a few days ago, we have also had some fun. The kids loved dyeing eggs and hunting them. And today we had a great time at 200 Million Flowers' 5K for the Fatherless. This Little Blog of Mine. Monday, January 5, 2015. Our December in a Nutshell. We had an awesome Christmas season! December, 2013, Benjamin spent the month slightly shell-shocked/culture-shocked as he was just home. I spent it exhausted from the 11 weeks I had just spent in Ukraine. December, 2012, I was neck deep in my cancer treatment and sick as a dog. December, 2011, I had just been diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma and was in a fog. So this year.BEST CHRISTMAS EVER! This Little Blog of Mine. Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Can It Really ONLY Be Wednesday? I pulled up my blog and realized it has been ONE YEAR exactly since my last post! I was shocked yet not shocked as it has been a very busy year. Helping kids that come from trauma is more than a full time job. It has been a trying year and a rewarding year as we have seen great progress in most of our kiddos. Monday, March 2, 2015. Ally has created a blog in which her and I will be writing about the pregnancy and uploading ultrasound pics and other pregnancy/baby related pics. Saturday, February 07, 2009. After spending a week in warm Southern California, we came back to a cold Oregon and a few days later it snowed . A LOT. It was nice for the first few days, then it gone to be a bother. September 7, 2013. A Blonde Product I Actually Endorse. Back before my wedding I got asked to review a product for blonde hair. I finally got around to getting the mail key for our apartment and finally got to try it, and holy cow, I LOVE this product. I will admit I was super nervous about using it at first because it is DARK purple.
