Thursday, February 26, 2009. The air speed flap. I've never tried this with a FTC rocket, but it's worth a try. There is metalic tape on this rocket, which disqualifies it from any possible ranking in the WRA2 record book. but this one is solely for research, so that's OK. Video of how the air speed flap should work. These are some pictures of my newest rocket, which is only test of concept. The final design will be alot lighter, and not have any metalic tape on it.
