Frontier Anglers TN | FA News
http://frontieranglerstn.com/category/fa-news
A cornucopia of options. On April 2nd, 2016 FA News. So far our spring has been fantastic. We’ve had nice weather, maybe a little breezy at times but nice over all. We’ve also had great flows on the rivers, both freestones and tailwaters. Bug life is plentiful some days and sparse other days but either way the fish are feeding just fine and their girth shows it. We’d love to show you what we have to offer in our beautiful area. Thanks for reading with us and we hope that you have a blessed day. Lou isn&#...

Frontier Anglers TN | Low water smallmouth
http://frontieranglerstn.com/2015/05/low-water-smallmouth
On May 30th, 2015 Fishing Reports. Big day for Logan with 2 fish over 20″. Way to go buddy. With crystal clear water we’ve had to think a few moves ahead, trying to get on the fish without being seen. With little cloud cover and plenty of sunshine it can make the fish a little skittish when the sun gets directly over head but longer casts and switching flies have kept the bite going. On a positive note, the low water has increased visibility making for some fantastic sight fishing at times. Frontier Angl...

On June 15th, 2015 Fishing Reports. Todd with his 2 best smallies within 10 minutes of each other. Great job Todd. As of the last week TVA has been running the generators in the afternoons on most of the bigger rivers. This has been great for the water temps on the lower parts of the rivers and should keep the river cool at least for a little while. The generation will also clear out some of the early unwanted grasses in the smallmouth waters that can clog up certain sections of the rivers. Courtyard Mar...

Frontier Anglers TN | Hatches and More
http://frontieranglerstn.com/2015/05/hatches-and-more
On May 16th, 2015 Fishing Reports. As far as the fishing goes, May has been red hot whether it’s been fishing the streams in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the tailwaters (Holston and Clinch Rivers) for trout or the lowland rivers (Little, French broad and Pigeon Rivers) for smallmouth. Despite the fact of little to no rain and the streams and rivers are low/clear, this hasn’t hindered the fishing at all. His dad Jerry wasn’t far behind either. June will be here before you know it and although t...
