Triumphs of Nick B. Monday, 12 October 2009. Bit of this and that. So basicly what has been done to the spit this season has been putting almost 3.000 miles on it and done nothiong but an oilchange and new oilfilter (well, then the insurance has sorted out new bumper and fixing the bonnet, but that does not count! On the GT6 major work is going on. Most of the car has been taken to bits now. I am currently removing old underseal (waxoil? Fair bit of filler around the headlight panel :o.

Oh - and new silicone hoses as it turned out that the old rubberhoses were shot after two years of service. Thursday, April 9, 2009. OK, it's a Pantera song, not a disco ditty from the 70's but you get the idea. Last Sunday, the neighbours dog escaped while they were out. While attempting to stop it running madly onto the road, I lost my balance. The result is three broken metatarsus in my left foot. Så gik en gammel drenge drøm i opfyldelse, en rigtig prøve tur i en Rolls Royce. Om det er det mest ultimative man kan opnå af bil i dag, er vist blevet overhalet af moderne biler som f.eks Lexus, men når man som 10 åring knægt, i 1983 snakker om luksus bilen, så findes der ikke noget bedre end Rolls Royce, men sådan én kommer. Fredag den 4. november 2011. Det er nogle gange ikke let at se hvad man køber. Så blev der igen udøvet, en rednings auktion på en sjælden Triumph model, denne gang var det. Reservedels bilen på ladet. 25 liter 132 hk. og benzin indsprøjtning. Og lagde sig om på siden, pokkers tænkte jeg, nu var den sikkert ødelagt, men der var ikke noget skader at se efter at den kom på ret køl,. En god sund karosse. Efter en vask ser den nu helt flot ud. Fredag den 29. oktober 2010. Søndag den 17. oktober 2010. Så gjorde han det igen. Motorblokken uden de 4 huller til motorophæng, 2000 ophænget er lavet om så den kan stå på Vitesse rammen. Der er også en anden og anderledes ekspansion / forhøjet køler beholder, end den typiske ”kasse” ved siden af ventildækslet, endnu en ting jeg ikke har set før, den er flot tilpasset, så den kan næsten ikke være andet end fra en Triumph? Nummerpladen og Volvo'en er Dansk. man har set mange bil billeder af samme præstation på nettet, fra den store verden, men jeg har aldrig set noget lignende her i Danmark. Søndag den 7. februar 2010. Mit nye offroad legetøj er en Toyota LJ70 2.4 TD fra 1986. Vinteren er over os, og sneen har for alvor sorteret fårene fra bukkene, og det gav anledning til at skifte Golf’en ud, med et noget mere uproblematisk fremkommelig køretøj. Det har længe været et ønske, at anskaffe mig en 4-hjulstrækker, da jeg både har en længere privat markvej, min egen skov og af og til også har brug for at trække en autotrailer.
