Last weekend Leigh and went on our first ever overnight adventure on the scooters. We rode from Jackson over to Vicksburg and then up to our friends Brandon and Sandy’s retreat center. The ride to Vicksburg was fun and uneventful. The weather was cool with little humidity. We rode down old country roads flanked with cotton fields and pine trees. This weekend we had the kids and were not able to take as long a ride as we normally do, so instead we went for quality. We scooted down to the southeastern corner of Hinds County to the swinging bridge over the Pearl River.
