Wednesday, July 18, 2012. The parking lot was full of Grimpeurs of every type. Birdman was there, handing out hugs and what not. Vanilla Ice rolled out of his back yard and out to the start line. Diesel and Diesel Jr. were unloading high end steeds. Even Sandbag was there bringing G-man on his first Pike pilgrimage. Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Six riders made the Grimp on another gorgeous Tuesday. The ride made it's way over to the mountains on the east side of The Cheat, but not without impediments. With the lake crossing fiasco behind us, the climb of Quarry run was the challenge ahead. The Grimp lined up at the bottom and was up tempo from the gun. Legs paced the group from the front for most of the climb, the normal cascade of words emanating from his learned head replaced by a steady flow of perspiration.

Many racers DNFed in each race, but WVU did not have a. Single one. None of our guys/gal were harmed irreparably. Lessons in. Humility were learned by everyone. It is going to be one fast, fun. The 375km ITT was brutal. Much gasping for air occurred. Many muscles. Were made sore. It started with a decent hill climb, which at speed.

We just crossed in front of an oncoming train. I wanted to race the train to the pass where we cross the tracks again and be in front of it so I took off hoping the others would pace hard to catch up. I was well in front of the train moving along at about 25, it started pouring slowing me a little, the train caught up and was passing.

Monday, November 17, 2008. Its always the case. During exams i so cant wait for it all to be over. But when it's over really i become so aimless. I was packing my room yesterday, a yearly routine i carry out before i go home. Lil' jeremy fell asleep on my computer chair in a tortoise like position. Haha he was heaps cute. Now that i'm exam stress free. I tend to stress about other (maybe trivial) things. And i just can't feel that way here. Growing older, friendships never are as pure as the good old days.
