the best six months of my life

Tuesday, June 15, 2010. London, almost one year on. Well, I never thought I'd find myself back in London in so short a time frame again, but I did! Wasn't quite sure what to expect this time round -as much as I love London, I knew that things might be different now that I'm not actually living there, but oh what the hell -I couldn't wait to see it again anyway. (:. Normal feel normal to be in London, after all, London's 'normal' was what I had lived in for the better part of 5 plus months. Hahaha. So...

the best six months of my life: The very last post

http://www.uncreativelytitled.blogspot.com/2009/07/very-last-post.html

Wednesday, July 15, 2009. The very last post. I think I've pretty much chronicled everything I've wanted to about the last six months of my life (notice I changed the blog title from "the next six months of my life"? I've already done my Thank Yous on FB so I won't repeat myself here, but to everyone who matters, thank you. One important lesson I've learnt in the UK and the whole experience: shit happens, so deal with it. Hahaha. Sounds depressing but nah it's not as bad as it sounds! The very last post.

Saturday, December 27, 2008. By the time you see this, I will be GONE! Not vanishing in puffs of clouds (oh how I wish I was going on SEP to Hogwarts instead) but vanishing into real clouds -how cirrusly cool is that? More updates when I get to the scary city. the best six months of my life: The last weekend in London

http://www.uncreativelytitled.blogspot.com/2009/07/last-weekend-in-london.html

Wednesday, July 15, 2009. The last weekend in London. It was such a great weekend and a great way to round off the whole London experience, I think. (: By this time Fen-ma had just moved into Yinghong's room as well, so the company was of course good! Saturday -It's all about the music (20/6). West End Live is held at Leicester Square, and all the big acts of the West End put up a few songs and acts. What better way to experience the best of West End. for free? We wandered off after a bit and realised th...

the best six months of my life: February 2009

http://www.uncreativelytitled.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html

Monday, February 23, 2009. The land of chocolates. Okay super unproductive today and doesn't help that my nose has been running pretty much the entire day (okay, excuses, excuses) -it's just a vicious cycle -cough, nose runs, cough, nose runs etc. Damn Ear-Nose-Throat connections (but I guess it keeps me alive by allowing me to breathe so I had better not curse it too much). And that was the start to my exciting travels! Some travel tips and potential consequences:. 3 Another sleep-related danger on trai...

Monday, August 08, 2011. Where is the peace! Somehow, getting that divine answer puts me at ease in a way. Thou shall just wait and see cos whatever happens is just the will of the higher powers, yes i'd prefer to think it that way. Now, all i need is to seek another type of inner peace in the corporate battle. I hope i can do it. I always tell myself to do it, but in the end, i'm still far from it. Let's hope i reach there somehow, slowly but surely :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Thursday, January 16, 2014. Everyone knows someone who "smoothies". Some of you my have even tried it yourself. I've even written a blog post about smoothies! Matter of fact, if you Google the word "smoothie", you'll get millions of results ranging from a huge variety of smoothie recipes, to articles trying to convince you whether or not smoothies are healthy for you. First of all, I want to say that not all smoothies are created equal. Let me say that again. NOT ALL SMOOTHIES ARE CREATED EQUAL! Nope Not...

Sunday, August 16, 2015. SBPT15: Quotes With Naomi! Today, I'm here with Naomi and some of her favorite quotes! Slightly late because I apparently never scheduled this and it sat in draft form, oops. I would have noticed earlier but I work at the ungodly time of 6am.). First, a Coco Chanel quote! And, of course, everyone needs a Dr. Suess quote in their lives. It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.". 8213; JK Rowling. Links to this post.

Best of 2016 and Looking Ahead. 2016 has been long. I'm not a very optimistic person, so I don't really see the light at the end of the tunnel for 2017, but I'm glad we'll get a clean slate, in a way. I got a new job in 2016 working with monkeys and kind of maybe sorted out what I want to do with my life? But I also got a cat! I didn't read very much in 2016. I tried, but I've been getting so bored and distracted so easily lately. But of what I DID read, here are my favorites from 2016. Featuring a reluc...

My many random, and not so random, ramblings. Monday, May 24, 2010. Brought To You By. Tuesday, June 16, 2009. 8220;Writing is a form of personal freedom. It frees us from the mass identity we see in the making all around us. In the end, writers will write not to be outlaw heroes of some underculture but mainly to save themselves, to survive as individuals.” - Don Delillo. Slightly more agitated, the man answered "Do not undermine me! Seriously, Icel. Before noon? Icel I'm not even dre-" The phone clicks...

Forex 101 – Currency Pairs. Foreign Exchange trading (Forex, hereafter) is a market that’s opened up to private investors since the 1990s, and it currently has over two trillion dollars worth of trading transactions every single day, making it the single largest market in the world. The key to forex trading is that everything has a relative value; you want to buy a currency low and sell it for more than you paid for it. Currency pairs also have other swing patterns; there are seasonal patterns in currenc...
