STV for BC - Vote Yes! Saturday, May 21, 2005. STV Referendum Post (not-so) Mortem. To Crawl Across the Ocean. Where do we go from here? The battle's done,. And we kind of won. So we sound our victory cheer. Where do we go from here? Why is the path unclear? After thinking it over for a couple of days, I have to say I'm pretty positive about the outcome of the referendum. A final factor was that, undeniably, some of the people who argued and voted against STV did so not because they preferred the current...
STV for BC - Vote Yes!: January 2005
http://stvforbcvoteyes.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
STV for BC - Vote Yes! Monday, January 31, 2005. As the abstract says, I put this blog together as a way to organize all my posts and links on STV into one place, and to provide an STV-only place where I can post all I want on STV without boring readers of my regular blog. Who aren't interested to tears. For the moment, the site is a bit of a work in progress, I hope to have it pretty much fully up and running by the end of the week (Feb 6). I guess we'll see how it goes. Posted by Declan at 1:47 AM.

Liberals For Electoral Reform. Monday, April 27, 2009. New TV ad for BC-STV! Check out this great new ad put out by the Yes to BC-STV. Side in the B.C. referendum to be held May 12th. For more information, go to stv.ca. And congrats to the Yes side for this great ad. Posted by Matt Guerin. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
Liberals For Electoral Reform: Vancouver Sun: Lopsided Alberta vote underscores B.C.'s unfinished electoral work

Liberals For Electoral Reform. Thursday, March 6, 2008. Vancouver Sun: Lopsided Alberta vote underscores B.C.'s unfinished electoral work. The Vancouver Sun reflects on the recent lopsided election result in Alberta and how it illustrates the need to re-examine how we elect our governments in Canada. That would be a shame - a waste of thousands of hours of work by the Citizens' Assembly and millions of dollars invested in the Electoral Boundaries Commission.". Posted by Matt Guerin. I also suggest that t...

STV for BC - Vote Yes! Monday, May 09, 2005. Posted by Declan at 11:00 PM. Just one thing - might be good for a link - the Nelson Daily News had a five-part debate between Yes/No. Here it is: http:/ community.netidea.com/ccbc/STV debate.htm. Thanks for the link Mike. Could be just me but those 5 topics look like they were chosen by the No side: "is STV bad for business? C'mon Where was the debate on "Is First-Past-the-Post bad for Democracy"? How did we get here? What the heck is STV? In the MIND of Rani.
