Namaste, New Delhi! I survived. In and out in less than 24 hours, which was the perfect amount of time for me. Oh sure, you could easily spend a few days there, or weeks if you were making a pilgrimage or checking in to an ashram. On April 25, 2012. These Photos are from India. I have been twice now and would love to go again and see other parts of the country. Both times I went to Varanasi. Benaris) on the Ganges (Ganga). It is an amazing city! Both times we took a morning boat ride to see the sun rise. You see people praying and taking baths in the Ganges as well as cremations. You can also just wander around the ghats (the steps on the river) or get lost in the alleyways. I will say that it is hot! Very narrow and no guardrails...
